Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Bob Carpenter Center, Philadelphia,  taking place on 01/11/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Banks (10(1) - 2) who hails from Dundee, UK and Alejandro Godinez(13(3) - 7(1) - 1) from Medellin, Colombia.  Both Banks and Godinez weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lloyd Orton, and the three ringside judges are Dillon Kundrat, Joey Grierson and Ben Begue.  

Round 1: 

Godinez is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  Godinez holds on to his opponent.  Godinez leans on his opponent using all his weight. Banks is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Godinez advances into close range.  Godinez sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Godinez steps inside.  Banks sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Banks switches the action to the outside.  Godinez lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.
