Shinji Konda vs Hajime Kanai

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Nippon Budokan, Tokyo,  taking place on 09/11/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the East Asian Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shinji Konda (23 - 6(2) - 1) who hails from Osaka, Japan and Hajime Kanai(11 - 4(2)) from Kobe, Japan.  Konda weighed in at 168 pounds, while Kanai weighed in at 167 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kazuhiko Nakano, and the three ringside judges are Yuji Tsutsumi, Ryo Shiroma and Yasushi Shishido.
