Dave Hughson vs Shane Delaney

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Golden 1 Center, Sacremento,  taking place on 09/01/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Hughson (36(25) - 0 - 1) who hails from Oakland, USA and Shane Delaney(23 - 9(6) - 2) from Tallaght, Ireland.  Both Hughson and Delaney weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Lowe, and the three ringside judges are Nick Erskin, Oliver Williston and Zuffur Sylla.  

Round 1: 

Delaney advances into close range.  Hughson hits home with a left hook.  
Hughson tries to land a jab, but Delaney slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Hughson lands a right hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents head, AND SENDS DELANEY SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Hughson is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Hughson lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut, cross and a left hook to his opponents head, AND DELANEY IS DOWN!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Hughson!
