Michael Maurice vs Mel Elliot

Boxing Daily Report from the Cpboxing promoted show at John Buie Gym, Georgetown,  taking place on 10/11/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Guyana-North Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Maurice (5 - 3(1) - 1) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Mel Elliot(12 - 7(3) - 2) from Georgetown, Guyana.  Both Maurice and Elliot weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Blackstock, and the three ringside judges are John Crombie, Malcolm Algeo and Phil Routledge.
