Aidan Whalen vs Tom Hughes

Boxing Daily Report from the Smash Em Up Promotions promoted show at Desmond Gam Gym, Cardiff,  taking place on 11/11/2030:

Clearly Smash Em Up Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Wales Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aidan Whalen (5 - 1) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Tom Hughes(4 - 2(1)) from Swansea, UK.  Both Whalen and Hughes weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Glyn Bowen, and the three ringside judges are Joshua Gillespie, Dale Carrick and Mark MacNevin.  

Round 1: 

Hughes quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
