Doug McNelly vs Henry Quirke

Boxing Daily Report from the Braveheart promoted show at Gavin Griffith Gym, Edinburgh,  taking place on 14/11/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Scotland Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Doug McNelly (9 - 21(4) - 1) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and Henry Quirke(17(2) - 4) from Glasgow, UK.  Both McNelly and Quirke weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is William Cooper, and the three ringside judges are Hamish McBeth, Charlie MacNeal and David Hall.  

Round 1: 

Quirke hits home with a cross.  
Quirke is on target with a stinging left hook.  Quirke wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McNelly dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Quirke lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Quirke is looking to close the distance and tries to land a right hook, but McNelly blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Quirke forces McNelly to back into the corner.  Quirke hits home with a right hook.  Quirke clinches his opponent.  Quirke is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Quirke and breaks the clinch.  
Quirke lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.

Quirke lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Quirke advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
McNelly throws a right uppercut, but Quirke ties up his opponent.  Quirke leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Quirke is on target with a firm left uppercut to McNelly's body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McNelly dabs at his face checking for damage.

McNelly steps away from his opponent.  Quirke sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a cross.
