Mariano Pagano vs Carlo Pollastrini

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Sicily promoted show at Palermo Parro, Palermo,  taking place on 21/11/2030:

Clearly AI Italy-Sicily have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mariano Pagano (7 - 7 - 5) who hails from Palermo, Italy and Carlo Pollastrini(13 - 9 - 4) from Catania, Italy.  Both Pagano and Pollastrini weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicenzo Strano, and the three ringside judges are Angelo Misserville, Colombo Masotti and Giorgio Domenici.  

Round 1: 

Pollastrini advances into close range.  Pagano pivots to the side of his opponent.  Pollastrini tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.

Pagano voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Pollastrini accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Pagano.
