Joel Broaden vs Antonio Alboni

Boxing Daily Report from the No Limit promoted show at Malcolm Duffy Gym, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 01/11/2030:

Clearly No Limit have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joel Broaden (1 - 1 - 2) who hails from Townsville, Australia and Antonio Alboni(2 - 0) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Broaden and Alboni weighed in at 104 pounds And 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Neil Pembroke, and the three ringside judges are Geoff Birnie, Glynn Profit and Brendan Moultrie.  

Round 1: 

Alboni advances into close range.  Alboni lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Alboni.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
