Leeroy Chidongo vs Quaashie Konkola

Boxing Daily Report from the Sangweni Promotions promoted show at Lusaka Hampwaye, Lusaka,  taking place on 03/11/2030:

Clearly Sangweni Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zambia-Lusaka Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leeroy Chidongo (9 - 5 - 3) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Quaashie Konkola(4 - 5 - 2) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Both Chidongo and Konkola weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Voshon Mangande, and the three ringside judges are Vandwon Sipalo, Noah Mabwe and Mashawn Nkandu.  

Round 1: 

Konkola closes the distance.  Chidongo pivots from in front of his opponent.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Konkola dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Chidongo switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Chidongo lands a cross.  
Konkola lands a right hook.  
Chidongo tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a cross.  
Chidongo pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.
