Richie Kuan vs Jawad Firman

Boxing Daily Report from the Sultan's Fists promoted show at Shah Alam National Sports Complex Panasonic, Shah Alam,  taking place on 15/12/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Richie Kuan (10(3) - 1(1)) who hails from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Jawad Firman(16 - 9 - 2) from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  Kuan weighed in at 146 pounds And 10 ounces, while Firman weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zafa Othman, and the three ringside judges are Rashid Bhutto, Atif Awan and Kamran Ahmed.  

Round 1: 

Kuan gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Kuan clinches his opponent.  Kuan pushes his forearm into Firman's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Firman is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Kuan advances into close range and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Firman sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Kuan is on target with a left hook to Firman's ribs.  
Kuan walks Firman down, trapping him in the corner.  Kuan is on target with a firm cross.  
Kuan gets on the inside and digs in a solid right hook to Firman's ribs.  Kuan attempts to land a right hook, but Firman blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kuan is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Kuan attempts to land a left hook, but Firman parries the shot and counters with a left hook to Kuan's liver.  
Firman switches the action to the outside.  Firman sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Kuan lands a solid cross.

Kuan feints a jab, and then lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kuan throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Kuan clinches his opponent.  Kuan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Kuan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Kuan gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kuan is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into Firman's body.

Kuan gets on the inside and SLAMS a big left hook into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE FIRMAN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Kuan is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Kuan DETONATES a big right hook on his opponents face.  FIRMAN IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Firman now seems to have his senses back.  
Kuan lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Firman quickly recovers. 
Kuan lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kuan closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Kuan gets on the inside.  Firman throws a left hook, but Kuan holds on to his opponent.  Kuan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kuan to stop holding.  
Kuan lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, DROPPING FIRMAN TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Firman cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Kuan!
