John Blas vs Salvador Maulit

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Laguna promoted show at San Pedro Bandigas, San Pedro,  taking place on 10/12/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Philippines-Laguna Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Blas (6 - 2 - 4) who hails from Cabuyao, Philippines and Salvador Maulit(20 - 12 - 4) from Calamba, Philippines.  Both Blas and Maulit weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Olindo Suguitan, and the three ringside judges are Xavier Sicat, Arnie Gumiran and Xavier Sicat.

Blas steps to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Maulit slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
