Ray Binoche vs James Cucinelli

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Convention & Exhibition Centre, Melbourne,  taking place on 23/12/2030:

Clearly JSW have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ray Binoche (9(5) - 0) who hails from Maroua, Cameroon and James Cucinelli(4 - 5) from Wollongong, Australia.  Binoche weighed in at 122 pounds, while Cucinelli weighed in at 121 pounds And 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Leighton McPherson, and the three ringside judges are Bruce Munhall, Joey Mahtesyan and Sam Beatty.  

Round 1: 

Cucinelli sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cucinelli throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a big cross.  CUCINELLI IS HURT!  
Binoche steps to the outside.  Some sustained pressure from Binoche could be enough to finish Cucinelli!  Binoche lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS CUCINELLI SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Cucinelli now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Binoche lands with a ramrod jab.  
Binoche tries to step out of his opponents range and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Binoche lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Binoche lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Binoche lands a solid overhand left.  
Cucinelli advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Binoche on the ropes.  Binoche hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Binoche lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Binoche clinches his opponent.  Binoche leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Binoche steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Binoche lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Binoche lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Cucinelli closes the distance.  Binoche sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Binoche lands a sharp left hook.  Binoche ties up his opponent.  Binoche pushes his forearm into Cucinelli's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Binoche tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a cross.  
Binoche lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Binoche lands a jab.  
Cucinelli closes the distance.  Cucinelli pivots to the left of his opponent.  Binoche lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Binoche lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Binoche ties up his opponent.  Binoche is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cucinelli manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Binoche drives a right uppercut into Cucinelli's body.  
Cucinelli quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Binoche lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Cucinelli advances into close range.  Binoche lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Cucinelli.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  Cucinelli quickly recovers. 
Binoche pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a solid left hook.  
Binoche is looking to keep his distance and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Binoche feints a right hook, and then lands a cross, overhand right and an overhand left to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Cucinelli quickly recovers. 
Binoche hits home with a right hook.  
Cucinelli closes the distance.  Binoche lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Binoche is on target with a left hook.  Binoche ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Binoche pushes his forearm into Cucinelli's face.  The ref breaks Binoche's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Binoche lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Binoche sidesteps to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cucinelli's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Binoche lands an overhand left followed by  two jabs to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Binoche senses Cucinelli is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Binoche lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS CUCINELLI TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Cucinelli now seems to have got his legs back.  
Binoche lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Binoche steps to the outside and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Binoche lands a stinging overhand left.  
Cucinelli is looking to close the distance.  Binoche hits home with a solid left uppercut.  
Binoche switches the action to the outside.  Binoche feints a right hook, and then is on target with a stinging cross.  
Binoche is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Binoche lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Binoche is on target with a jab.  
Binoche lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.

Cucinelli steps inside.  Binoche pivots from in front of his opponent.  Binoche connects with a weighty right hook.  CUCINELLI WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Binoche holds on to his opponent.  Binoche leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Cucinelli recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Binoche steps away from his opponent and lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Cucinelli manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Binoche lands a right hook to the head, a jab to the head and a jab to the body.  
Binoche steps to the outside.  Binoche feints a cross, and then lands a sharp jab.  
Cucinelli pivots to the side of his opponent.  Binoche hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Binoche lands a firm jab to his opponents body.  
Binoche hits home with a solid jab.  
Binoche steps away from his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Binoche is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Binoche lands a right hook, cross and a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS CUCINELLI DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Binoche!
