Ponce Casal vs Javier Afonso

Boxing Daily Report from the PitBull Promotions promoted show at Rio de Janeiro Leite, Rio de Janeiro,  taking place on 14/11/2030:

Clearly PitBull Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Rio de Janeiro Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ponce Casal (7 - 1 - 1) who hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Javier Afonso(15 - 14(2) - 6) from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  Casal weighed in at 175 pounds, while Afonso weighed in at 175 pounds and 12 ounces.    As Afonso came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Xaverius Giraldo, and the three ringside judges are Juan Ramo, Jerrold Vas and Venacio Reveles.
