Roman Lucero vs Leon Flanagan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Capital Territory promoted show at Hellenic Club, Canberra,  taking place on 14/11/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Roman Shotgun Lucero (27(27) - 3(2) - 1) who hails from Rodriguez, Philippines and Leon Flanagan(6 - 4) from Adelaide, Australia.  Both Lucero and Flanagan weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Hakopyan, and the three ringside judges are Irfan Dallal, John Hakopyan and Noel Wilson.  

Round 1: 

Lucero is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Flanagan almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Flanagan pivots to the left of his opponent.  Flanagan throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Lucero manouvers Flanagan onto the ropes.  Lucero lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Flanagan quickly recovers. 
Lucero lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Lucero is on target with a firm left uppercut.  
Lucero hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  Lucero clinches his opponent.  Lucero is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Lucero's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lucero pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a stinging left hook.  
Lucero connects with a right hook.  Lucero clinches his opponent.  Lucero pushes his forearm into Flanagan's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Lucero about fouling.  
Lucero lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Lucero holds on to his opponent.  Lucero leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Flanagan almost instantly gets his legs back.

Lucero lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Lucero holds on to his opponent.  Lucero leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Lucero's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lucero is on target with a WICKED cross.  FLANAGAN IS HURT!  
Lucero is looking to close the distance.  Lucero stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Lucero lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS FLANAGAN DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Flanagan now seems to have his senses back.  
Flanagan throws a left hook, but Lucero ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Flanagan lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Lucero lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Flanagan recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Lucero lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Lucero is looking to close the distance.  Flanagan throws a left hook, but Lucero clinches his opponent.  Lucero is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Flanagan throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Lucero lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Lucero holds on to his opponent.  Lucero tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Flanagan behind the head. Lucero leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Lucero's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lucero lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Lucero sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a firm left hook.  
Flanagan lands a left hook.  
Lucero closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Lucero holds on to his opponent.  Lucero leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.

Lucero manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Lucero pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a spiteful cross.  FLANAGAN IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  
Lucero steps inside and drives a stinging left uppercut into Flanagan's body.  
Lucero is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Lucero cuts off the ring, trapping Flanagan on the ropes.  Lucero lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Lucero throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot.  Lucero clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Lucero pushes his forearm into Flanagan's face.  The referee warns Lucero and breaks the clinch.  
Lucero sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS FLANAGAN DOWN!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Lucero!
