Leighton Malloch vs Max Carrick

Boxing Daily Report from the Gene Russell promoted show at Bart Seller Gym, Chicago,  taking place on 12/12/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leighton Malloch (7 - 15(1) - 4) who hails from Chicago, USA and Max Carrick(15 - 7 - 2) from Chicago, USA.  Both Malloch and Carrick weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jordan Protheroe, and the three ringside judges are Ewan Lockart, Noel Hart and Joe Walls.  

Round 1: 

Carrick gets on the inside.  Carrick quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Malloch digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Malloch is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Carrick hits home with an overhand right.

Carrick lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.

Malloch is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Malloch sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a cross.
