Ponce Cortez vs Jax Casares

Boxing Daily Report from the Nunoo Promotions promoted show at Joaquin Rodriguez Gym, Santa Cruz de la Sierra,  taking place on 12/12/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Bolivia-Santa Cruz Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ponce Cortez (20(4) - 0) who hails from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia and Jax Casares(19 - 5 - 2) from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.  Both Cortez and Casares weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Larenzo Cordova, and the three ringside judges are Selestino Aparicio, Montego Damian and Onofre Aparicio.  

Round 1: 

Casares connects with a right hook.  
Cortez digs in a left uppercut to Casares's liver.  
Cortez lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Cortez is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Cortez lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Cortez ties up his opponent.  Cortez pushes his forearm into Casares's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cortez lands a right hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Casares dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Casares attempts to land a jab, but Cortez slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook.

Cortez is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Cortez holds on to his opponent.  Cortez pushes his forearm into Casares's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Cortez about fouling.

Cortez advances into close range and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.

Cortez pivots to the right of his opponent.  Cortez whips in a nasty right hook to his opponents ribs.  CASARES IS HURT!  Cortez tries to land a left hook, but Casares sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  Casares quickly recovers. 
Casares attempts to land a right hook, but Cortez blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Cortez walks his opponent onto the ropes.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Casares dabs at his face checking for damage.

Casares's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Casares's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Cortez throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Casares time to recover.  
Cortez advances into close range and drives a left hook into Casares's body.  
Casares is on target with a jab.  
Casares tries to step out of his opponents range and lands with a sharp jab.  
Cortez steps inside.  Casares tries to land a right hook, but Cortez slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
