Carlos Abrego vs Franco Matos

Boxing Daily Report from the Nawanoma Promotions promoted show at Quito Madero, Quito,  taking place on 17/11/2030:

Clearly Nawanoma Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Pichincha Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Abrego (6 - 5 - 2) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Franco Matos(3 - 10 - 2) from Quito, Ecuador.  Both Abrego and Matos weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hernan Alameda, and the three ringside judges are Seferino Montalbo, Jose Buitrago and Ovidio Vallez.  

Round 1: 

Matos attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Abrego's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Matos closes the distance.  Abrego wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Matos dabs at his face checking for damage.  Matos has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Matos steps inside.  Abrego lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Abrego switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Matos quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Abrego hits home with a cross.  
Matos steps inside.  As Matos tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Abrego dabs at his face checking for damage.
