Ricardo Guzman vs Edmundo Casto

Boxing Daily Report from the Millonarios promoted show at Bogota Rabago, Bogota,  taking place on 16/12/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ricardo Guzman (9(2) - 1) who hails from Bello, Colombia and Edmundo Casto(13 - 11(1) - 8) from Bogota, Colombia.  Guzman weighed in at 112 pounds, while Casto weighed in at 111 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Juan Ascencio, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Marrero, Franco Minjarez and Rio Lopez.  

Round 1: 

Guzman connects with a solid right hook.  
Casto quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Guzman digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Casto switches the action to the outside.  Guzman lands a jab.  
Guzman pivots to the right of his opponent.  Guzman drives a solid right uppercut into Casto's ribs.  Guzman ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Guzman pushes his forearm into Casto's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Guzman pivots to the side of his opponent.  Guzman is on target with a stinging left hook.  Guzman clinches his opponent.  Guzman is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Guzman to stop fouling.  
Guzman walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Casto throws a left hook, but Guzman clinches his opponent.  Guzman leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Guzman lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Guzman tries to land a cross, but Casto blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Guzman closes the distance.  Guzman pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a firm right hook.  
Guzman lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  Guzman holds on to his opponent.  Guzman leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Guzman lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Guzman forces Casto to back into the ropes.  Guzman pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Guzman pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a right uppercut.  
Guzman is looking to close the distance.  Guzman pivots to the right of his opponent.  Casto is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Casto throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Casto attempts to land a cross, but Guzman sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Casto switches the action to the outside.  Guzman lands a sharp cross.  
Guzman steps inside.  Casto quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Guzman digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents ribs.  Casto wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Guzman.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Guzman is on target with a stinging right hook to Casto's body.  
Guzman sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a firm left hook.  
Guzman lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Guzman sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Casto attempts to land a cross, but Guzman slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook to Casto's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Casto's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Casto's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Casto's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Casto's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Guzman is on target with a right hook.  Guzman holds on to his opponent.  Guzman uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Casto behind the head. The referee warns Guzman and breaks the clinch.  
Guzman pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Guzman lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Guzman advances into close range.  Guzman sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Casto is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a cross, but Guzman slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Casto connects with a left hook.  
Guzman gets on the inside.  Guzman sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Guzman sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Guzman is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Guzman lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Guzman walks his opponent into the corner.  Guzman lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.

Guzman pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a WICKED right hook.  DOWN GOES CASTO!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Guzman!
