Polo Kugblenu vs Tevaughn Gyan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Labi, Kumasi,  taking place on 17/12/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Polo Kugblenu (20(10) - 8(1) - 2) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Tevaughn Gyan(9 - 10 - 5) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Kugblenu weighed in at 130 pounds, while Gyan weighed in at 129 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bob Antwi, and the three ringside judges are Faraji Anyidoho, Gethin Nkansah and Quintavius Ametepey.  

Round 1: 

Kugblenu advances into close range and is on target with a solid left uppercut.  Kugblenu holds on to his opponent.  Kugblenu is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kugblenu.  
Kugblenu lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Kugblenu walks Gyan into a corner.  Gyan throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Kugblenu ties up his opponent.  Kugblenu tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Gyan's kidney. 
Kugblenu lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kugblenu lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Kugblenu lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kugblenu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gyan throws a left hook, but Kugblenu ties up his opponent.  Kugblenu is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Kugblenu's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

He then lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES GYAN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Gyan has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Gyan throws a left hook, but Kugblenu clinches his opponent.  Kugblenu leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Kugblenu steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Gyan on the ropes.  Kugblenu hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  
Kugblenu sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Gyan's body.  
Kugblenu drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Kugblenu lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Gyan almost instantly gets his legs back.
