Joaquin Villamor vs Juan Rizo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Chihuahua promoted show at Ole Ole Concert Hall, Juarez,  taking place on 26/12/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Chihuahua Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Villamor (22 - 7(3) - 1) who hails from Juarez, Mexico and Juan Rizo(16(4) - 12(2)) from Juarez, Mexico.  Villamor weighed in at 112 pounds, while Rizo weighed in at 111 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Marco Vasallo, and the three ringside judges are Diego Blandon, Diego Blandon and Rodrigo Urda.  

Round 1: 

Rizo hits home with a firm right hook.

Rizo closes the distance and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Rizo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Villamor attempts to land a cross, but Rizo slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Villamor lands an overhand left.  
Rizo closes the distance and manages to force Villamor into the corner.  Rizo digs in a right hook to Villamor's body.  
Rizo lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Villamor tries to step out of his opponents range.  Rizo lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND DROPS VILLAMOR!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Villamor almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Rizo is looking to close the distance and digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  Rizo ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Rizo pushes his forearm into Villamor's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Villamor.  That has caused nasty damage to the nose.
