Venacio Orozco vs Alejandro Mano

Boxing Daily Report from the Mugyenyi Promotions promoted show at Alejandro Marquez Gym, Reynosa,  taking place on 26/12/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Venacio Orozco (15 - 1) who hails from Reynosa, Mexico and Alejandro Mano(9 - 3(1) - 2) from Reynosa, Mexico.  Both Orozco and Mano weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Edmundo Naranjo, and the three ringside judges are Xavier Alverez, Diego Toro and Dario Zepeda.  

Round 1: 

Orozco closes the distance.  Mano pivots from in front of his opponent.  Mano connects with a right uppercut.  Orozco clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Orozco pushes his forearm into Mano's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Orozco.  
Orozco lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Orozco closes the distance.  Orozco digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  Orozco tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mano steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Orozco steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Orozco drives a cross into Mano's body.  
Orozco advances into close range and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Orozco steps inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Orozco closes the distance.  Orozco is on target with a left hook.  Orozco ties up his opponent.  Orozco leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  As Mano tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Orozco.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
