Odin Westgard vs Vanslow Beier

Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at Ullevaal Stadion, Oslo,  taking place on 31/01/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Northern Europe Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Odin Westgard (27(22) - 1 - 1) who hails from Oslo, Norway and Vanslow Beier(21 - 8(2)) from Copenhagen, Denmark.  Both Westgard and Beier weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oliver Finstad, and the three ringside judges are Ronald Setter, Oliver Vinje and Unni Billing.  

Round 1: 

Westgard steps inside.  Beier hits home with a left uppercut.  
Westgard walks Beier onto the ropes.  Westgard drives a solid left hook into Beier's body.  
Westgard lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Beier could be stopped here, if Westgard can find the right shot!  Westgard lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS BEIER TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Beier now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Westgard is looking to close the distance and hits home with a solid right hook.  
Westgard drives a firm left hook into Beier's body.  Westgard tries to land a left hook, but Beier slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Westgard gets on the inside.  Westgard slams a hurtful right uppercut into Beier's ribs.  BEIER WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  As Beier tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Westgard dabs at his face checking for damage.  Beier almost instantly recovers. 
Beier pivots to the side of his opponent.  Westgard throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Beier throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Beier lands a cross.  Beier tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Westgard gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
Westgard sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Beier sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Westgard lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Westgard closes the distance and is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Westgard drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Westgard steps inside.  Beier lands a right uppercut.  
Westgard drives a solid right hook into Beier's ribcage.  
Beier walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Westgard lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Westgard knows Beier is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Westgard lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS BEIER DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Westgard lands a right hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  It looks like Beier has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Beier's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Beier's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Westgard lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Westgard whips in a big left uppercut to his opponents body.  BEIER WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Beier recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Westgard sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a spiteful jab.  
Beier contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Westgard hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Beier is on target with a right uppercut.  
Beier feints a jab, fooling Westgard into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Beier springs the trap, countering with  a right uppercut.  
Beier is on target with a cross.  
Westgard is looking to close the distance and is on target with a solid left hook to Beier's liver.  
Westgard lands a straight 1 - 2.  Westgard tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Beier tries to land a jab, but Westgard dodges the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Beier pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Westgard quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Beier tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a sharp jab to his opponents body.  
Beier lands a spiteful jab.  
Westgard digs in a left hook to Beier's ribs.  
Westgard lands a stinging left hook.  
Westgard whips in a big left uppercut to his opponents body.  BEIER IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Westgard steps inside and drives a stinging left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Westgard lands two left hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Westgard knows Beier is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Westgard lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body, AND BEIER IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Beier now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Westgard steps inside.  Some sustained pressure from Westgard could be enough to finish Beier!  Westgard lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS BEIER SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Westgard!
