Vili Makinen vs Veijo Pollari

Boxing Daily Report from the P3P Promotion promoted show at Energia Areena, Vantaa,  taking place on 27/01/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Finland-Uusimaa Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Nelonen, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vili Makinen (16(14) - 0) who hails from Helsinki, Finland and Veijo Pollari(11 - 8 - 5) from Espoo, Finland.  Both Makinen and Pollari weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Veijo Arajarvi, and the three ringside judges are Nuutti Pihlavisto, Erkki Hattonen and Rauni Salminen.

Makinen closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  Makinen clinches his opponent.  Makinen is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Makinen leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Makinen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Makinen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.

Makinen closes the distance and lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Pollari almost instantly recovers. 
Makinen lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Makinen lands a left hook.  
Makinen walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Makinen lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Makinen digs in a powerful right hook to Pollari's ribcage.  IT LOOKS LIKE POLLARI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Makinen thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Pollari away.  Makinen slams a nasty right uppercut into his opponents body.  POLLARI IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Pollari has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
