Santiago Merin vs Gervasio Penalver

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Guatemala-Guatemala promoted show at Universidad Mariano Galvez, Guatemala City,  taking place on 20/12/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on El Súper Canal, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Santiago Merin (4 - 0) who hails from Guatemala City, Guatemala and Gervasio Penalver(1 - 2 - 1) from San Salvador, El Salvador.  Merin weighed in at 130 pounds, while Penalver weighed in at 129 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Pomales, and the three ringside judges are Gabriel Lamar, Gervasio Gamez and Quinto Amparan.
