Nemesio Romuar vs Jerrold Moncayo

Boxing Daily Report from the Luipa Promotions promoted show at Mike Gatdula Gym, San Jose del Monte,  taking place on 29/12/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Bulacan Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nemesio Romuar (9 - 13 - 3) who hails from San Jose del Monte, Philippines and Jerrold Moncayo(13 - 8 - 3) from Malolos, Philippines.  Both Romuar and Moncayo weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xavier Maniquis, and the three ringside judges are Juan Vasques, Francisco Celeste and Jesus Bacallao.  

Round 1: 

Romuar steps inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Moncayo lands a jab.  
Romuar steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Moncayo accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Romuar.  Moncayo drives a left hook into Romuar's body.
