Ashley Lin vs Dai Kimmey

Boxing Daily Report from the T5 Promotions promoted show at Ian Simrell Gym, Auckland,  taking place on 28/12/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ashley Lin (12 - 10(3) - 1) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Dai Kimmey(18(4) - 0) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Lin and Kimmey weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kieran Beynon, and the three ringside judges are Declan Haturini, Will Mellas and Clinton Martie.  

Round 1: 

Kimmey advances into close range.  Kimmey quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kimmey lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  Kimmey holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Kimmey pushes his forearm into Lin's face.  The referee warns Kimmey and breaks the clinch.  
Kimmey hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Kimmey steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Kimmey clinches his opponent.  Kimmey leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Kimmey lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kimmey lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Kimmey holds on to his opponent.  Kimmey leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Kimmey sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kimmey steps inside and is on target with a hurtful left uppercut.  LIN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Lin recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Kimmey lands a solid cross.  
Kimmey advances into close range and lands a right hook.  
Kimmey lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kimmey drives a right uppercut into Lin's ribs.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kimmey dabs at his face checking for damage.

Kimmey is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kimmey lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Lin is on target with a cross.  
Kimmey is looking to close the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Kimmey ties up his opponent.  Kimmey leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Lin almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Lin pivots to the right of his opponent.  Kimmey attempts to land a cross, but Lin slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Kimmey digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Lin walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kimmey is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Kimmey advances into close range.  Kimmey sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents liver.  
Kimmey digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Kimmey drives a solid right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Kimmey manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Kimmey pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Lin's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Kimmey advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES LIN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Lin almost instantly gets his legs back.
