Ryuu Inouye vs Michi Furuta

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kanagawa promoted show at Yokohama Koga, Yokohama,  taking place on 12/01/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ryuu Inouye (14(4) - 7(2) - 1) who hails from Nagoya, Japan and Michi Furuta(16 - 7 - 5) from Amagasaki, Japan.  Both Inouye and Furuta weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kenji Shimoda, and the three ringside judges are Keiichi Goto, Kazuki Shimoda and Hajime Sada.  

Round 1: 

Inouye lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Furuta gets on the inside.  Inouye throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Inouye ties up his opponent.  Inouye pushes his forearm into Furuta's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Inouye about fouling.  
Inouye drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Inouye lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Inouye lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Furuta is looking to keep his distance.  Inouye lands a cross to the head, a jab to the body and a jab to the head.  
Inouye closes the distance and forces Furuta to retreat into a corner.  Inouye pivots to the right of his opponent.  Furuta is on target with a right uppercut.  
Inouye voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Furuta steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Furuta hits home with a left hook.  
Furuta throws a right hook, but Inouye clinches his opponent.  Inouye tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Furuta behind the head. The referee warns Inouye and breaks the clinch.

Furuta throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.
