Montana Cornejo vs Jax Tamayo

Boxing Daily Report from the Miki González promoted show at Murcia Zevallos, Murcia,  taking place on 14/01/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Spain-Basque Country Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Montana Cornejo (22(2) - 3 - 1) who hails from Bilbao, Spain and Jax Tamayo(14 - 12 - 4) from Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain.  Both Cornejo and Tamayo weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Marjun Fuente, and the three ringside judges are Onofre Zaragoza, Gervasio Uriarte and Francisco Virgen.  

Round 1: 

Cornejo advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  Cornejo clinches his opponent.  Cornejo pushes his forearm into Tamayo's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Cornejo to stop fouling.
