Matt Manenga vs Ad Marais

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Soweto Dokuaa, Soweto,  taking place on 31/12/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Africa-Gauteng Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matt Manenga (20 - 11 - 6) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Ad Marais(9(5) - 0) from Roodepoort, South Africa.  Both Manenga and Marais weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kyan Majola, and the three ringside judges are Max De Jager, Quannell Poku and Ubanwa Koranteng.  

Round 1: 

Marais closes the distance and is on target with a firm right uppercut to Manenga's ribcage.  
Marais gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Marais walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Marais lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Marais hits home with a left uppercut.  Marais ties up his opponent.  Marais is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Marais is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Marais holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Marais pushes his forearm into Manenga's face.  The ref breaks Marais's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Marais lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.

Marais sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Marais lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Marais ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Marais pushes his forearm into Manenga's face.  The ref breaks Marais's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Marais digs in a firm left hook to his opponents liver.  
Marais is looking to close the distance and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Marais is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Marais gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Marais clinches his opponent.  Marais is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Manenga lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Marais is on target with a DESTRUCTIVE left hook.  MANENGA IS DOWN!  THE REF DOES NOT GIVE MANENGA THE CHANCE TO BEAT THE COUNT...HE'S STOPPING THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Marais!
