Mason Ayibonte vs Vashon Bawuah

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Abrankese Stadium, Kumasi,  taking place on 11/01/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Viasat 1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mason Ayibonte (14(12) - 2(2)) who hails from Takoradi, Ghana and Vashon Bawuah(18 - 6(2) - 1) from Accra, Ghana.  Both Ayibonte and Bawuah weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Scott Acquah, and the three ringside judges are Nabulung Ayew, Tamarius Ankomah and Otieno Adomah.
