Tajo Rozas vs Antonio Benavidez

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Fantastic Casino de Albrook Mall, Panama City,  taking place on 09/01/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tajo Rozas (11(9) - 0) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Antonio Benavidez(7 - 13 - 4) from Medellin, Colombia.  Both Rozas and Benavidez weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Cobo, and the three ringside judges are Nicandro Gomez, Sierra Reynoso and Zelipe Prudencio.  

Round 1: 

Rozas gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Rozas holds on to his opponent.  Rozas is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Rozas about fouling.  Benavidez quickly recovers.

Rozas advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Rozas ties up his opponent.  Rozas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Rozas throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Rozas is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Rozas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Rozas advances into close range.  Benavidez pivots from in front of his opponent.  Benavidez throws a left hook, but Rozas clinches his opponent.  Rozas is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Rozas tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Benavidez behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Benavidez feints a right hook, but Rozas is not fooled and responds with a CRUSHING left hook.  BENAVIDEZ IS HURT!  Benavidez recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Rozas advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Rozas hits home with a solid right hook.  
Rozas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a firm right hook.  
Rozas drives a stiff jab into his opponents face.  
Rozas closes the distance and throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Rozas clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Rozas pushes his forearm into Benavidez's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Rozas about fouling.  
Rozas walks his opponent into a corner.  Rozas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Rozas knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Rozas lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  It looks like Benavidez has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Rozas slams a FIERCE left hook into his opponents body.  BENAVIDEZ IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.
