Gabriel Palomino vs Gervasio Amaro

Boxing Daily Report from the Luminarias del Boxeo promoted show at Terrassa Guiterrez, Terrassa,  taking place on 02/01/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Spain-Catalonia Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Marca TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gabriel Palomino (13 - 10(2)) who hails from Barcelona, Spain and Gervasio Amaro(8 - 12(2) - 4) from Barcelona, Spain.  Both Palomino and Amaro weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Senon Verano, and the three ringside judges are Juan Tano, Diego Barrantes and Gervasio Uriarte.  

Round 1: 

Amaro is looking to keep his distance.  Amaro quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.

Palomino advances into close range.  Palomino pivots from in front of his opponent.  Palomino throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Palomino ties up his opponent.  Palomino is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Palomino throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Palomino clinches his opponent.  Palomino uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Amaro behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
