Joseph Kalizibwe vs Tariq Farooqui

Boxing Daily Report from the Champions promoted show at Kampala Busingye, Kampala,  taking place on 02/01/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda-Kampala District Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joseph Kalizibwe (16 - 5(2) - 1) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Tariq Farooqui(13 - 12(3) - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  Both Kalizibwe and Farooqui weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shontae Batuma, and the three ringside judges are David Iii, La Vonn Ruparelia and Mark Hamya.
