Ashley Maddix vs Jay Costain

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at Waitakere Bringhurst, Waitakere,  taking place on 19/02/2021:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ashley Maddix (7 - 0) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Jay Costain(7 - 0) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Both Maddix and Costain weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Clinton Martie, and the three ringside judges are Glynn Telford, Kyle Stine and Jack Hislop.
