Patrick Morando vs Ian Owen

Boxing Daily Report from the Manhattan Maulers promoted show at New York City Conte, New York City,  taking place on 02/01/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Patrick Morando (30(26) - 0) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Ian Owen(3 - 1 - 2) from Phoenix, USA.  Morando weighed in at 118 pounds, while Owen weighed in at 117 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Bonito, and the three ringside judges are Bob Boyle, Leighton Tasca and Zach Moriarty.  

Round 1:

Morando steps to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Owen almost instantly gets his legs back.

He then lands a left hook, right hook and a cross to his opponents head, AND DROPS OWEN TO THE CANVAS!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Morando!
