Shamus Myres vs Norb Gulliksen

Boxing Daily Report from the Mainza Promotions promoted show at Doncaster Dome, Doncaster,  taking place on 14/01/2031:

Clearly Mainza Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Shamus Myres (16(9) - 0 - 1) who hails from Belfast, UK and Norb Gulliksen(21 - 11(1) - 2) from Copenhagen, Denmark.  Myres weighed in at 244 pounds and 11 ounces, while Gulliksen weighed in at 252 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Peter MacQuarrie, and the three ringside judges are Bob Clyde, Paul Ladd and Russell Gwilym.  

Round 1: 

Myres steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.

Myres steps inside and throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Myres holds on to his opponent.  Myres leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Myres pushes his forearm into Gulliksen's face.  The referee warns Myres and breaks the clinch.  
Myres lands a right hook to the body followed by two left uppercut's to the head, AND GULLIKSEN IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  Myres holds on to his opponent.  Myres hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Myres is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Myres to stop holding.  
Myres stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Myres lands a SAVAGE right hook.  GULLIKSEN IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Gulliksen now seems to have his senses back.

Myres is looking to keep his distance and connects with a DESTRUCTIVE cross.  GULLIKSEN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE REF STOPS THE FIGHT!  HE DOES NOT BELIEVE GULLIKSEN CAN CONTINUE!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Myres!
