Beltran Interiano vs Juan Barabas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Aragua promoted show at Polideportivo Las Delicias de Maracay, Maracay,  taking place on 04/01/2031:

Clearly AI Venezuela-Aragua have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Beltran Interiano (23(19) - 0) who hails from Ciudad Bolivar, Venezuela and Juan Barabas(3 - 7(1)) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  Both Interiano and Barabas weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hilario Adriano, and the three ringside judges are Jose Mate, Santiago Collazo and Alejandro Laurel.  

Round 1: 

Interiano steps inside and is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Interiano lands a firm cross.  
Interiano closes the distance and drives a firm left hook into Barabas's body.  Interiano ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Interiano pushes his forearm into Barabas's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  Interiano tries to land a left hook, but Barabas blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Interiano lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, KNOCKING BARABAS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Interiano clinches his opponent.  Interiano pushes his forearm into Barabas's face.  The referee warns Interiano and breaks the clinch.  Barabas recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Interiano closes the distance and throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Interiano clinches his opponent.  Interiano leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Barabas tries to keep the action at long range.  Interiano hits home with a solid cross.  
Interiano is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Interiano lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  Interiano clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Interiano is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Interiano digs in a right hook to Barabas's ribs.  
Interiano manouvers Barabas onto the ropes.  Interiano throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Interiano clinches his opponent.  Interiano leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Interiano's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Interiano digs in a right hook to Barabas's ribcage.  
Interiano quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Interiano digs in a solid left uppercut to his opponents liver.  Interiano clinches his opponent.  Interiano is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Interiano closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Interiano gets on the inside.  Interiano lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Interiano clinches his opponent.  Interiano leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Interiano dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Interiano is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  Interiano throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Interiano steps inside and whips in a hurtful right hook to Barabas's body.  BARABAS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Barabas quickly recovers. 
Interiano lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Barabas almost instantly recovers. 
Interiano lands a cross.  
Barabas switches the action to the outside.  Interiano lands a jab.  
Interiano advances into close range and digs in a sharp left hook to Barabas's ribs.  
Interiano drives a stinging left hook into Barabas's body.  
Interiano gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to Barabas's body.  
Interiano connects with a right hook.  
Barabas pivots to the side of his opponent.  Interiano attempts to land a left hook, but Barabas blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Interiano manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Interiano is on target with a solid left uppercut to Barabas's ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Barabas's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Barabas's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Barabas's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Interiano sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Interiano digs in a left uppercut to Barabas's body.  Interiano holds on to his opponent.  Interiano is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Interiano lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Interiano is looking to close the distance and digs in a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Interiano digs in a left hook to Barabas's body.  
Interiano gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Interiano is on target with a powerful left hook to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE BARABAS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Barabas tries to step out of his opponents range.  Interiano senses Barabas is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Interiano lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Interiano closes the distance and walks Barabas down, trapping him on the ropes.  Interiano lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS BARABAS TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Barabas now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Interiano pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Interiano walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Interiano lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND BARABAS IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  
Interiano senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Barabas and just needs the right shot.  Interiano lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head, AND DROPS BARABAS TO THE CANVAS!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Barabas can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Interiano!
