Sam Preece vs James Messer

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Colisee de Quebec, Quebec City,  taking place on 25/01/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Americas Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sam Preece (28(16) - 3) who hails from Winnipeg, Canada and James Master Messer(24(2) - 4(3) - 1) from Hamilton, Canada.  Both Preece and Messer weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Elliot Girardot, and the three ringside judges are Laurent Marceau, Brendan Aitken and Launcelot Rozenthal.  

Round 1: 

Preece closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.  
Messer lands with a sharp jab.
