Adam Muhumusa vs Shaun Mwerinde

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Kampala District promoted show at Kampala Oromait, Kampala,  taking place on 02/01/2031:

Clearly AI Uganda-Kampala District have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Adam Muhumusa (6(4) - 0) who hails from Gulu, Uganda and Shaun Mwerinde(0 - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  Both Muhumusa and Mwerinde weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Asif Youssef, and the three ringside judges are Joseph Madhvani, Salim Tusabe and Chris Bandebire.  

Round 1:

Muhumusa hits home with a right hook.  Muhumusa clinches his opponent.  Muhumusa is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Muhumusa lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Muhumusa walks his opponent into the corner.  Muhumusa lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Muhumusa sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Mwerinde attempts to land a left uppercut, but Muhumusa sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Muhumusa digs in a firm left hook to Mwerinde's ribs.  
Muhumusa drives a left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Muhumusa sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Mwerinde throws a left hook, but Muhumusa clinches his opponent.  Mwerinde tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Muhumusa behind the head. The referee warns Mwerinde and breaks the clinch.  
Mwerinde advances into close range.  Muhumusa pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Muhumusa connects with a right hook.  
Muhumusa is on target with a left uppercut.  Muhumusa tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Muhumusa lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Muhumusa clinches his opponent.  Muhumusa leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Muhumusa dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Muhumusa forces Mwerinde to back into the corner.  Muhumusa lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Muhumusa lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Muhumusa gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Muhumusa crashes a hurtful right hook to Mwerinde's body.  MWERINDE HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Muhumusa ties up his opponent.  Muhumusa leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Muhumusa's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Muhumusa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Muhumusa lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Muhumusa ties up his opponent.  Muhumusa leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mwerinde's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Mwerinde's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Muhumusa lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Muhumusa dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Muhumusa.  That has caused a slight cut above the right eye.  .

Muhumusa gets on the inside and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Muhumusa closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Muhumusa closes the distance and drives a powerful right hook into his opponents ribs.  MWERINDE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Mwerinde recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Muhumusa stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Muhumusa crashes a spiteful right uppercut to Mwerinde's ribs.  MWERINDE IS DOWN!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Muhumusa!
