Richard Birrell vs Mark Hobkirk

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at Belle Vue Stadium, Manchester,  taking place on 01/02/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Commonwealth Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Richard Birrell (26(12) - 1) who hails from Spanish Town, Jamaica and Mark Hobkirk(25(8) - 0 - 1) from Kingston, Jamaica.  Birrell weighed in at 112 pounds, while Hobkirk weighed in at 111 pounds And 4 ounces.
