Rico Rico vs Xavier Alvaro

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Distrito Federal promoted show at Brasilia Costa, Brasilia,  taking place on 15/01/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Esporte Interativo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rico Rico (8 - 0 - 1) who hails from Porto Alegre, Brazil and Xavier Alvaro(24 - 2) from Brasilia, Brazil.  Rico weighed in at 135 pounds, while Alvaro weighed in at 134 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Miguel Belo, and the three ringside judges are Macario Arruda, Desiderio Caldas and Reynaldo Cambra.
