Valeri Chura vs Sergey Wasik

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Belarus-East promoted show at Gomel Kozuch, Gomel,  taking place on 16/01/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Belarus Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Beltelecom, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Valeri Chura (3 - 3 - 1) who hails from Gomel, Belarus and Sergey Wasik(5(3) - 0) from Minsk, Belarus.  Chura weighed in at 115 pounds, while Wasik weighed in at 114 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Vikenti Prudnikov, and the three ringside judges are Sergei Zahorsky, Georgiy Kostyk and Petro Soroko.  

Round 1: 

Wasik is on target with an overhand right.  
Chura advances into close range.  Wasik pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Chura steps to the outside.  Wasik lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Chura steps inside.  Wasik lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  Wasik clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Wasik pushes his forearm into Chura's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Wasik is on target with a left hook to Chura's ribs.  Wasik clinches his opponent.  Wasik leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Wasik's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Wasik feints a left, and then lands a right hook to the body, a cross to the body and a jab to the head.  
Wasik gets on the inside.  Chura tries to land a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Chura is looking to keep his distance.  Wasik lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Wasik pivots to the left of his opponent.  Wasik drives a right hook into Chura's body.  Wasik holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Wasik pushes his forearm into Chura's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Wasik to stop fouling.  
Wasik lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Wasik sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Chura connects with a left hook.  
Wasik is on target with a firm left hook to Chura's body.  
Chura throws a left hook, but Wasik ties up his opponent.  Chura uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Wasik behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Chura about fouling.  
Wasik sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Wasik lands a right uppercut.  Wasik holds on to his opponent.  Wasik tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Chura's kidney. 
Wasik lands a solid left hook.  Wasik clinches his opponent.  Wasik leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Wasik lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Wasik sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Chura is looking to close the distance.  Wasik connects with a stinging left hook.  
Wasik pivots to the right of his opponent.  Wasik attempts to land a left uppercut, but Chura slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Wasik lands a solid right hook.  
Wasik pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Chura recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Wasik is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Wasik pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Chura's body.  
Wasik pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a telling right hook.  CHURA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Wasik senses Chura is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Wasik lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND CHURA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  The count reaches 10, but Chura is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Wasik!
