Ashley Gittins vs Leighton Newman

Boxing Daily Report from the Chanel Grady promoted show at Henry Shiel Gym, Calgary,  taking place on 14/01/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ashley Gittins (15 - 0) who hails from Calgary, Canada and Leighton Newman(14 - 7 - 1) from Calgary, Canada.  Gittins weighed in at 167 pounds and 14 ounces, while Newman weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amon Eagleson, and the three ringside judges are Zachary Shillinglaw, Robert Methvin and Joe Dinwiddie.
