Cris Picon vs Rico Tello

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Guayas promoted show at Guayaquil Huerta, Guayaquil,  taking place on 17/01/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ecuador-Guayas Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cris Picon (22(7) - 2) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Rico Tello(14 - 15 - 1) from Duran, Ecuador.  Picon weighed in at 117 pounds and 10 ounces, while Tello weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Roman Parrilla, and the three ringside judges are Pedro Solis, Dario Ramirez and Ovidio Alarcon.  

Round 1: 

Picon closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Tello tries to step out of his opponents range.  Picon lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Picon gets on the inside and is on target with a solid left uppercut.  Picon clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Picon pushes his forearm into Tello's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Picon about fouling.

Picon pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Tello's body.

Picon manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Picon lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  Picon holds on to his opponent.  Picon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Picon lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Picon ties up his opponent.  Picon hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.
