Ramirez Caro vs Porfio Rondon

Boxing Daily Report from the Habe Promotions promoted show at Quito Leo, Quito,  taking place on 18/01/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Pichincha Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ramirez Caro (7 - 13(1) - 4) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Porfio Rondon(8 - 8 - 3) from Quito, Ecuador.  Both Caro and Rondon weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alvino Casiano, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Guitron, Leonel Armenta and Luis Mazariegos.  

Round 1: 

Rondon steps inside.  Rondon pivots to the side of his opponent.  Caro is on target with a left uppercut.  
Rondon advances into close range and digs in a left uppercut to Caro's body.  
Rondon advances into close range and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Rondon digs in a right hook to Caro's ribcage.

Caro pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Rondon sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Caro lands a cross.  
Rondon backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Caro steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.
