Roman Montesino vs Neron Borge

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Miranda promoted show at Caracas Melchior, Caracas,  taking place on 19/01/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Venezuela-Miranda Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Roman Montesino (16(6) - 4(1)) who hails from Caracas, Venezuela and Neron Borge(14 - 10(1) - 9) from Los Teques, Venezuela.  Both Montesino and Borge weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Rota, and the three ringside judges are Paco Cruzado, Cisco Paredes and Olindo Julian.  

Round 1: 

Montesino is looking to close the distance.  Montesino pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Montesino quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Montesino lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  Montesino tries to land a right hook, but Borge blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Montesino sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Montesino lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Borge is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Montesino is on target with a jab.  
Montesino manouvers Borge into the red corner.  Borge lands a left hook.  
Montesino pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Montesino lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Montesino advances into close range and is on target with a solid right uppercut to Borge's body.

Borge tries to land a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid right hook to Borge's ribcage.

Borge throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Montesino lands a jab to the body, a jab to the head and an overhand right to the head.  
Montesino lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Montesino steps inside and is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Montesino pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Borge tries to step out of his opponents range.  Borge circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Montesino lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Montesino advances into close range.  Montesino quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Borge attempts to land a left hook, but Montesino parries the shot and counters with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Montesino closes the distance.  Montesino pivots to the right of his opponent and SLAMS a MASSIVE left uppercut into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE BORGE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Montesino is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Montesino lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  Borge now seems to have got his legs back.  
Montesino gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Borge lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Borge throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Montesino pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Montesino pivots to the right of his opponent.  Borge attempts to land a left hook, but Montesino sidesteps and counters with a powerful left hook.  BORGE IS HURT!  
Montesino gets on the inside and forces Borge to retreat into the corner.  Montesino knows Borge is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Montesino lands a right uppercut to the body, a cross to the head and a right uppercut to the head, AND DROPS BORGE!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Borge has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Montesino is on target with a firm cross.  
Borge walks Montesino onto the ropes.  Montesino is on target with a jab to Borge's body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Borge's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.
