Urvano Espana vs Juan Montano

Boxing Daily Report from the Inkoom Promotions promoted show at Lipa Mabanglo, Lipa,  taking place on 03/02/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Philippines-Bulacan Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Urvano Espana (8(6) - 1) who hails from Santa Maria, Philippines and Juan Montano(2 - 0 - 1) from San Jose del Monte, Philippines.  Espana weighed in at 153 pounds and 2 ounces, while Montano weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jose Salire, and the three ringside judges are Onofre Dimasalang, Nick Caga-anan and Diego Duma-og.  

Round 1: 

Montano sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Espana tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Espana hits home with a cross.  Espana tries to land a right hook, but Montano parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Espana closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to Montano's body.  
Montano lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Espana steps inside.  Espana lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Espana wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Montano dabs at his face checking for damage.

Espana lands a right hook followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Espana gets on the inside.  Espana lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Espana holds on to his opponent.  Espana leans on his opponent using all his weight. Montano tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Espana behind the head. Espana pushes his forearm into Montano's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Espana to stop fouling.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Montano dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Espana lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Espana ties up his opponent.  Espana uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Montano's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Espana steps inside.  Montano throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Espana holds on to his opponent.  Montano is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Montano pushes his forearm into Espana's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Montano to stop fouling.  
Montano tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Espana gets on the inside.  Montano attempts to land a left uppercut, but Espana blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Montano connects with a sharp left hook.  
Montano lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Espana is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Montano digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Espana manages to force Montano onto the ropes.  Espana is on target with a sharp right uppercut to Montano's ribs.

Espana knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Espana lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs. He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Espana!
