Chris Elrick vs John Elley

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Waikato promoted show at Chris Cowen Gym, Hamilton,  taking place on 27/12/2030:

Clearly AI New Zealand-Waikato have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Waikato Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Elrick (1 - 10(1) - 1) who hails from Hamilton, New Zealand and John Elley(7 - 8 - 3) from Hamilton, New Zealand.  Both Elrick and Elley weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gregor Tweedle, and the three ringside judges are Amon Reid, Sam Shirah and David Darnley.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Elrick dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Elrick.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
