Thi Tuan vs Sam Farquhar

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Colisee de Quebec, Quebec City,  taking place on 25/01/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Thi Tuan (9(3) - 0 - 1) who hails from Hanoi, Vietnam and Sam Farquhar(7 - 21(3) - 6) from Toronto, Canada.  Both Tuan and Farquhar weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Laurent Marceau, and the three ringside judges are Elliot Girardot, Brendan Aitken and Launcelot Rozenthal.  

Round 1: 

Tuan gets on the inside and hits home with a solid left hook.  
Tuan lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Farquhar attempts to land a right hook, but Tuan parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Tuan lands a hard jab.  
Tuan is looking to close the distance and drives a firm right uppercut into Farquhar's body.  
Tuan lands a jab followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Tuan lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Tuan lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Tuan ties up his opponent.  Tuan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Tuan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Farquhar almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Tuan contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Farquhar tries to land a left hook, but Tuan sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Tuan advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Tuan lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  Tuan ties up his opponent.  Tuan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Tuan and breaks the clinch.  
Tuan digs in a sharp right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  Tuan holds on to his opponent.  Tuan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Farquhar lands a cross.  
Tuan gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Tuan lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Tuan advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Tuan closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Tuan ties up his opponent.  Tuan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Tuan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Tuan advances into close range.  Tuan sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

Farquhar wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tuan dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Tuan is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Tuan drives a right hook into Farquhar's ribs.  
Tuan is looking to close the distance and is on target with a CRUSHING left hook.  FARQUHAR IS HURT!  Farquhar quickly recovers. 
Tuan is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Tuan gets on the inside.  Farquhar sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Tuan lands a spiteful right hook.  FARQUHAR HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Tuan connects with a right hook.  
Farquhar tries to land a left hook, but Tuan parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Tuan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Tuan clinches his opponent.  Tuan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Farquhar's kidney. 
Tuan is on target with a MASSIVE right uppercut.  FARQUHAR IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  
Tuan is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Tuan lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Tuan lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Farquhar almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Tuan cuts off the ring, trapping Farquhar on the ropes.  Farquhar connects with a cross.  
Tuan drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  Tuan ties up his opponent.  Tuan hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Farquhar quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Tuan lands a spiteful left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE FARQUHAR WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Farquhar quickly recovers. 
Farquhar lands a cross.
