Sid Dunmore vs Matt Corse

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Wellington promoted show at Stuart Stealey Gym, Wellington,  taking place on 27/01/2031:

Clearly AI New Zealand-Wellington have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Wellington Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sid Dunmore (9 - 11 - 6) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Matt Corse(2 - 8 - 7) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Both Dunmore and Corse weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jonathan Laurie, and the three ringside judges are Paul Redhead, Richie Hughson and Barry Christeson.  

Round 1: 

Dunmore throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Corse time to recover.  
Dunmore is on target with a right hook.  
Dunmore is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Corse hits home with an overhand left.  
Dunmore steps to the outside.  Corse tries to land a jab, but Dunmore sidesteps and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.

Corse steps inside.  Dunmore pivots from in front of his opponent.  Corse tries to land a right hook, but Dunmore blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Dunmore feints a left hook, and then lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Corse goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Dunmore time to recover.

Corse closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Dunmore's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Corse's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Dunmore steps to the outside.  Dunmore sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Dunmore throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Corse to the neutral corner.  He has a stern word with Dunmore and threatens a point deduction if continues to foul.
